Senior Ayurvedic Expert | MD (Ayurveda)
Dr. Janki Koshiya is an Ayurvedic physician who completed her MD in Ayurveda with a specialization in Dravyaguna (Ayurvedic Pharmacology). She currently works at J.S. Ayurveda College and P.D. Patel Ayurveda Hospital, where she is involved in patient consultation, teaching, and research. Along with her clinical responsibilities, she has experience in developing Ayurvedic herbal formulations based on classical Ayurvedic principles.
She has contributed to academic research through several publications in national and international peer-reviewed journals. Her research work includes clinical case studies and studies on Ayurvedic formulations and medicinal plants. During her MD research, her dissertation focused on Diabetes Mellitus, where she developed a herbal formulation and conducted pharmacognostical, analytical, and clinical studies, the results of which were published in scientific journals.
Apart from her clinical and research activities, Dr. Janki Koshiya has also written health-related articles for magazines to promote awareness about Ayurveda and its therapeutic benefits. She has guided and trained students in practical and research aspects of Ayurveda and actively participates in national and international workshops, seminars, and conferences to stay updated with advancements in Ayurvedic science and integrative healthcare..
